Mutiny 2nd album “Engkánto” launch! Live @ The 70’s Bistro

They gained some popularity in the underground scene by playing gigs at Club DREDD Timog and Mayrics as well as receiving airplay on LA105.9 with their singles “Rak N Rol na Lamang” and “Salamangkero”.

Influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and other 70’s bands like Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Deep Purple. Mutiny is regarded by many as one of the BIG 5 of Philippine’s HEAVY ROCK scene, along with Wolfgang, Razorback, Backdraft and Dahong Palay, Mutiny released their first album in 1994 “Ang Salamangkero at Iba Pang Mga Kwento” under Polycosmic Records.

Shortly after the release of their debut album, they disbanded in 1995. In 2012, Paul Viloria revived the band with musician-friends Cyrille Milan, Archie Semillano, Cedric Isip, Larry Velasco, and Khuji Bago. He later reunited with Roy, and then finally Sum in 2021. After 30 years, the original members Roy, Paul and Sum, and the addition of guitarist Raffy Zarzuela, recorded 10 new tracks in 2023 and are set to release their new and 2nd album, “Engkánto,” featuring 10 tracks, including the carrier single “Engkanto”, “Keep On Rocking”, “War”, “Narcíso” and more.

Available in CD, Cassette and Vinyl, Mutiny featuring second guitarist Sam Regalario will kick off their album launch with a series of bar gigs on June 22, 2024 SATURDAY at The 70’s Bistro one of the last strongholds supporting OPM music and artists.
