THIS IS AN INVITATION TO THE DANCE:🕺💃…I would like to invite everyone to the 1st Ever 80’s New Wave Band Event where I was involved in with the organizing and gathering of bands alongside Blare Productions. Featuring some new and not so new bands who have been continuing the lifeline of our most beloved new wave genre kicking and screaming to this new millenia. Catch The 2 Tone Flavours of Mobster Manila sure to liven up the party (These guys make you want to wear shades at night…😎). The Rock Wave attack of Legendary Icons, Khumbmela bolstered by The Vocal Histrionics of Monty Mendigoria and the addition of Fin Santos of IOV and Ressurected for that night. The Introspective New Wave Punch of Cavite’s Very Own, Interstate 26 with Aaron Gold Martin, Bonglennon EU of Tropical Deppresion, and Onmni Saroca of Hale providing the solid veteran punch. Also in the line-up are Electric Eyes led by Johnny Ruins and company and then The Punk Rock Sound of Finger Band providing diversity and energy to the line up. I will be performing A 5 or 6 song set with My Other Band, Electric Eyes (With Bandmates, Reks Koreks and Johnny Ruins) tomorrow at Scream Bar’s First Ever New Wave Event. The list of covers will be ”Total Recall” by The Sound, ”Whirlpool Heart”, by The Wild Swans, ”Ask Me Jon” by The Ocean Blue, ”I Melt With You” by Modern English and ”I’ll Be You” by The Replacements. Sana maisingit din ang ”Time and Space” ng Flesh For Lulu. Excited and honored to be in the same line-up as some of The Local New Wave Acts that I admire like Khumbmela, Mobster Manila, and Interstate 26. Its gonna be A Fun Night… -
