“Rood” is a Filipino Rock Band heavily inspired by the early 90’s Grunge Rock & Heavy Metal Bands like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden…
Back then, four high-school buddies hang out on rehearsal studios performing with their own bands… After long years of waiting, the four musicians met-up with the same perspective in life… To create and produce music; with a taste of each artist’s influences, sharing their God-given talents and message of positivity… Then and there, came “Rood”…
The band was conceptualized by Vocalist & Rhythm Guitarist “Jay Escober” & Drummer “John Angeles”… They started writing the songs for the group. And just in the right time and place, Bassist “Aldwin Navarro” & Lead Guitarist “Derick Padilla” joined to complete the group.
