Ready for another groovy ride?
Jeepney Jazz returns, starting off with the dynamic band of Brass Rosette, fronted by multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and band leader Nicole Tejedor-Reluya, trombonist and vocalist Vanessa Celestial, and guitarist John Reluya.
Take a trip back to the time when the Philippines reigned supreme in the jazz age of Southeast Asia. This year Jeepney Jazz tours through the period of the 1920s-1950s. Groove to an evening of Dixieland, swing, and bebop in Filipino arrangements, played with distinct Pinoy flair.
