This is Say More Radio SWR 99.9 FM’s signature track. We believe that musicians colour our world and also gives us a way to feel and express our emotions.

Here’s a fantastic offer from Butch Monserrat. Butch wants to teach amateur songwriters about the importance of saving their individual stems or tracks for future mixes. He is offering free of charge a mix and master for your first song. If I receive a song from an artist that has potential but needs improvement for broadcast quality, I will direct you to contact Butch. Butch is one of the greats of OPM – Original Pilipino Music. If you’re from the Philippines, you will be very familiar with Umagang Kay Ganda, which is used by one of the TV stations in the Philippines. So, free mix and master for the first song only.

        “Whilst Our World Burns”
Music: Butch Monserrat | Lyrics: David M. Cameron

        Verse 1:
        You’ve got to trust me
        That’s what they all say
        Their fingers in the pile
        As they’re getting richer!
        They smile to your face
        While slipping the knife
        Their all lying
        The lies are getting bigger

        Pre Chorus:
They’ve left us standing at the edge of an abyss.
Don’t you think that we deserve better than this?

        Verse 2:
        The world is burning,
        Thank C O 2!
        The band keeps playing
No one cares what you’ll do
        Forget Elon,
        Forget Zuckerberg
        Keep getting richer
        Saying that’s what they deserve.

        Pre Chorus:
They’ve left us standing at the edge of an abyss.
Don’t you think that we deserve better than this?

        Chorus:
How could we let it happen?
        We never learn
We watch them as they fiddle,
        Fiddle away
        Watching our world burns!

        Verse 3:
        Xi wants Taiwan,
        And Putin the world
        The question is
        Who will pay the piper
        We know Trump’s a fool
        And Borris ain’t done
        Egomaniacs,
        Every single one.

        Pre Chorus:
They’ve left us standing at the edge of an abyss.
Don’t you think that we deserve better than this?

How could we let it happen?
        We never learn
We watch them as they fiddle,
        Fiddle away
        Watching while our world burns!

        Bridge:
        Don’t get me started
        There’s still Murdoch too
        Raising havoc, conducting the show
A puppet master, makes them all dance
Getting leaders to eat from his hands

        Chorus:
How could we let it happen?
        We never learn
We watch them as they fiddle,
        Fiddle away
        Watching while our world burns!
        Watching while our world burns!
        Watching while our world burns!
        Watching while our world burns!
