8.00pm Lihim (Secret) by Zyryndyr (Korea)
When Zyryndyr was in Naic, Cavite, he composed a riff and it took him three days, and two hours to compose the whole song. He recorded the song at Cipra Studio, Molino Cavite, just days before his flight to South Korea. He dedicates this song to his ex, Rose.
“Lihim” by Zyryndyr is a song about hidden love and unexpressed feelings. It portrays the difficulty of keeping true emotions a secret and the hesitation in confessing love. Through each verse, it conveys the hope that the beloved might hear the hidden cries of the heart.
The song is filled with emotion and mystery, showcasing a love that is hard to explain but full of vibrancy and joy. Ultimately, it questions when to confess the hidden feelings, songs, and love, reflecting a deep desire to be honest about one’s emotions.
8.06pm Pinapalaya Na Kita (I Let You Go) performed by Jips Gallardo composed by Ray&Ben Music
The song “Pinapalaya na Kita” by Jips Gallardo is about letting go and freeing a loved one who wants to leave. The lyrics depict the painful process of accepting and giving freedom to the beloved to find happiness, even if it causes pain to the one who loves.
In the first verse, the singer reflects on the beloved’s statement of wanting to leave and wonders if there is someone else they love. The chorus conveys the message of setting the beloved free, accepting that they are no longer meant for each other, and understanding that the beloved is tired of waiting. The bridge expresses a promise to forget all the beloved’s promises, as part of the process of letting go and moving on.
8.12pm Paumanhin (Pardon) By Melissa Corpus Music (Rodriguez, Rizal)
“Paumanhin” by Melissa Corpus is a song of heartache and surrender in the face of a broken relationship. It expresses the pain of a sudden departure by a loved one and the uncertainty left behind. Each line conveys the confusion and wonder about why the former lover pretended and did not tell the truth.
The song is full of emotion, showcasing the act of freeing oneself from a relationship that fate did not intend. The apology is not only for the loved one but also for oneself, as a sign of acceptance and moving forward. The message of the song is clear: if someone is not meant for us, someone more suitable will come in due time.
