ALIBATA is one of today’s upcoming rock recording artist that hails from Naga City.

As proud Bicolanos, the band showcases a good combination of premium vocal prowess together with ingenious instrumentation.

The Band is led by their front-man Beejay Cruz (Vocals), with Paul Cecilio (Bassist), Ryan Onate (Drummer), and Joseph “Kuraie” Noga (Lead Guitarist).

Their first album was released by ZONE7 CANDID RECORDS last 2007 self titled ALIBATA contains seven (7) original songs and a Rockin’ revival of a Bicol song “SARONG BANGGUI” (awarded as BEST REGIONAL RECORDING at AWIT AWARDS 2010 held at the ARENA San Juan City), ALIBATA is also proud having been one of the ten semi-finalist of THE WORLD BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2007 (Philippine Division), the album is powered by its carrier single “MAGHIHINTAY NA LANG” that hit the chart of local radio stations in Bicol and some radio stations in manila. ALIBATA was also a part of a compilation album titled BAGONG HIMIG, ALON AT AGOS was their song, released by STAR RECORDS together with some popular artist LITO CAMO, YENG CONSTANTINO, KYLA, JURIS of MYMP, MAKISIG MORALES.

And this year April 2013, ALIBATA was named as Artist of the Month in RADYOKABAYAN (www.radyokabayan.com) a Cebu based international Radio station.

Last year 2012 of December ALIBATA Released their 2nd album titled (PAGLIPAS NG ANIM NA TAON) under AIKA Records with a carrier single HANGIN SA UMAGA and 2nd single HAHANAP HANAPIN MO with 8 more powerful songs.

ALIBATA hopes to continue spicing up music and embody the essence of Pinoy Rock and Roll for many years to come!!!!.
