HARMONY DRIVE
Packed with inspirational lyrics and very unique music, Harmony Drive is a Norwegian pop/rock band you should look out for if you love colorful harmonies and beautiful pop structures.
This band which is made up of three members, Lars Erik Schjerpen, Andre Myhren, and Vidar Braun, has been on the musical scene for about five years.
From their previous hardcore metal style, they decided to experiment with music that is more harmonic and acoustical. And this is not something that you see every day. With various songs that made it to various radio stations, and a good number of tours in various countries.
In 2012, Harmony Drive released their first single, “Something’s Wrong”, which was mixed by producer Rich Veltrop from The Spot Studios. The hit song received high rotation in the US, and even made its way to number 11 on the Philippine radio charts without ever having been released in the Philippines. This was the first song from Harmony Drive’s debut album, aptly titled from their former band moniker, Metal Heads With Broken Hearts (2014). The band collaborated with Rich Veltrop once again, and drummer Dave Elitch (The Mars Volta, M83, Killer Be Killed) to create the album.
The band will release their latest single entitled “See You” this coming 30th of September and Music video of their song “Be there” will be shoot in Philippines and be out late this year.
Both song produced by the legendary producer Richard J Veltrop (Rage Against The Machine, Tom Petty, Ozzy, Savoy, Macy Gray).
